There is such a mysterious feel to this look.  The Asian culture is really grabbing my attention at the moment and this is no different.  The black flower give off the vibe of dark and mysterious while the curls along with the black flower remind me of the "Black Swan".

In other news, I am sorry for my absence but it is about to be extended.  But first I want to thank all you people for viewing my blog.  Thank you for all your comments and all your emails, I appreciate it dearly.  You have made this blog exceed way above my expectations so thank you.  I moved away from home yesterday so I am now living on my own and completely independent.  *screams with excitement and fear*.

But, "There's Glitter In Your Hair" is going on a summer vacation for a little while.  I feel that because I'm working so much that it is a chore to do the blog and I don't want it to feel like that so it is time for a break.  There is a long list of things why I am stopping for the moment but I don't want to bore you because I've already said to much.  But I hope that when I get back that you will all be here to read it again.

Not The Usual Blonde...

I know people who would kill for hair this length.  But thats not what caught my attention.  At first glance it just seemed like a beautiful long haired blonde.  The brown strips of hair fascinated me.  I startled her at first but I eventually learned that they are extensions done by an African woman.  Even though its minimum, this kind of creativity by the Africa culture excites me.

Cut, cut and CUT!!!

I had to slow down and embrace this because I liked it so much.  All I'm saying is that he has the general look of a director.  I could imagine him on a set telling people what is right and what is wrong.  It was something different.  I even bought myself one of the hats, in black though.

In other news, I was recently employed by Gap in Dundrum, Dublin.  So this means I am spending the summer in Dublin, so I basically moved away from home yesterday, which is scary, but exciting nevertheless (Lets see how long I last paying my own way).

Also, I set up a tumblr account yesterday.  It's just another way for me to express myself.  Check it out by clicking the tumblr icon on the right.

Setting It Aside From Others...

We have all seen the Rihanna influenced red hair flock into Dublin like crazy.  Most people we see with it done, its not done right and their roots are showing like crazy.  This one caught my eye because of the vibrancy of the red.  And the shaved side sets this one aside from the others.

Modern 90s...

The volume in this hair is fabulous.  I could not get over it.  It gives off that 90s look of the tight sides and rising top, that Robyn supports.  But I also get a hint of Rihanna off this.  It is like a gorgeous combination of both.

I remembered how you all approved of the post where the guy had dreadlocks,  I knew you would fall in love with these.  I was getting my tattoo and he was there and well come on, something like this cant be let go.  You cant say much about them because of the initial shock you get.  They are breathtaking.

Red Is Catching On...

It seems that the red bow is catching on.  If you remember the red bow from the littlered riding hood post, it was more of a precise bow.  Here it’s messier.  This I like. The bow is messy and the hair is messy (in a good way of course).  It creates that whole just out of bed lookwhich I always like to see.

Speaking of hair, have you all heard Lady GaGa's new song "Hair"??  It is just a little amazing.  Have a listen and then dance around the house to it, I did.

Looking For That Summer Feel...

Happy Monday people.  Exams are over and summer is starting and we are back.  We decided since its summer and all that we would try and give a more summery feel to the blog so my friend and I took photos as you've seen.  What do you think of the new layout?  Do you like the colors? Im still on edge about them.  Would you rather one of the other pictures?  Oh and my hair,  I had to cut it up.  Sad face.  Procrastination during exam time does not mean that you go dye your hair.  I got bored and I put a whole load of stuff into my hair and I kind of forgot about them and I burnt a patch of hair off so I had to cut it.  Please read the instructions from the products company.  Do you guys like it?  Oh and I also want to say thank you to Ciara.

Ciara took the photos of me.  Oh and do you like her tattoo?  We got ours together when I got mine.

Non Sono Morto...

Recently, we have seen powerful women on the front of fashion magazines.  Lady GaGa and Rihanna were in Vogue and Gwen Stefani Featured in both British and American Elle, and now one of my favorite actresses joins that group, Cameron Diaz.  She featured on the cover of Junes British Elle if you haven't already seen it.  I will let you judge how fantastic she looks:

Nothing ever seems to bring this woman down.  She is somebody to idolize and try aspire to be.

In other news, I am finished my exams so I can return to blogging.  Sorry for my departure.  Summer now awaits and I will share my plans with you all later on but first, I got a new tattoo that you all need to see.

It is Italian for "I'm Not Dead".  It is my favorite P!nk song and there is a huge significance behind this for me so I said that I would get it done.  What do you think of it??  For now, bye bye, but I will talk to you all again on Monday.

Let's Go Indie...

I really like this outfit and I adore the camera being used as an accessory.  It is an indie look that you would see somewhere like Electric Picnic, which I can’t wait for by the way. Arlena use to have really long hair and she opted to cut it all upshort. It’s not an easy thing for a girl to do andit can be risky but it paid off for her.  I personally think it suits her better.  I like how it comes across as a simple style but there is so much going on here.  I like thevariety of lengths throughout the whole style, especially on either side.  She wants to go blonde, and I think it couldwork.  So let’s help her out.  What do you think??

PS.  My exams are now starting for the next two weeks so posts are not going to be as frequent unfortunately.  But I will try my best to post as much as I can.

Oh, what are your thoughts on the new design for the blog??

One Of Ireland's Top Street Stylists...

Do you know her? It’s Cathy O'Connor.  She is like one of Ireland’s top streetstylists.  We had such a greatconversation about her amazing shoes. The heel on them is just so different. I obsessed about them and she just kept building them up.  Kind of wanted a pair myself after shefinished taking about them.  Well, Iwanted her outfit but anyway.  Onto herhair.  I really liked her white strip ofhair.  It was like your one from X-Men (Ican’t remember her name).  Cathy’s hairjust suddenly went like this.  I justlost the pigment just like that.  When Iheard of this, she heard all about my jealousy and my want for white or greyhair.  Anyway, I’m waffling.  This is quite an elegant look but the whitestrip adds something new, it makes her look that bit more important.
